I really like the art style and the gameplay mechanics. My biggest issues are no aims or goals and the tiny, tiny, screen. Of course a few CTRL+"+" solves that though. Also music can't hurt. Still like the game though.

Thanks for the feedback! At the time even this much was considered an achievement due to our noobery. Thanks again!

Definitely see some potential. I really enjoy playing this style of flash RPG. Just make it more flashy the next time around, a few more moving parts. Andddd thank for using my music it is much obliged. Keep up the good work!

seabere responds:

Really glad you liked it and thank YOU for providing me with such fantastic music. A sequel is on the way and I actually got an artist this time. Plus loads more stuff to do. It may take a while till release though because I recently joined a collaboration as writer for a TRPG.

Lol.

I just totally dissed another snake game saying that there are too many out there etc. etc. But the music in this game reminded me of skyroads... an old DOS game and nostalgia overflowed my nostalgia gland. So I decided to play and you know what. It really looks like some good-hearted effort was put in to this snake game. It may not be primo stuff but it definitely makes the portal! Good job!

Zanzlanz responds:

Thank you. I know how many snake game are out there. Mines only one of hundreds, right?
I couldn't decide what kind of music to put in, so I just quickly edited one of my old techno songs!
Thank you!

It eats but...

It doesn't die. I mean yes realistically a snake hitting a wall wouldn't kill it. So you've got that base covered on a post-modern version of snake. BUT! Most snakes aren't trans-dimensional beings that can travel through a walls and end up on the parallel wall behind it, of course, unless that was what you were going for.

I think there are enough snake games out there and probably on newgrounds alone, but at least you made the effort to post a game. I will give you a point for the eating, the arrow keys working, and the trans-dimensional snake.

Keep it up!

MarioGamerPro3000 responds:

Yes I have realized that it doesn't die but I know it is a little off but hopefully I make better games

Cool!

I remember having those old portable handheld ones. You would be a race car (The race car was 7 pixels and you had a 3rd person view naturally( and avoid other cars... Even McDonald's gave those out for a while. This game is simple but the nostalgia all too real. I has completely forgotten those old LCD games even exists.. so thanks for reminding me! Awesome job.

zerosimms responds:

I remember that one! The other cars would come from the top downards and you dodge left or right! Haha so simple yet so challenging! Great stuff, I'm chuffed my game brought back those memories for you!

Nice!

This game may be fairly simple in concept and in graphics but nonetheless is a great game. Good job!

GGMagenta responds:

Thanks, I'm happy you liked.

Dude!

I liked this a lot! Final fantasy never gets old. Especially the sprites from the Classic!
I enjoyed the gameplay, the music, and graphics. I felt like some of the spells could have looked a little cooler. That was more or less it though. Great job!

ryoshenron responds:

Thanks. I didn't want to use too fancy effects for the spells since it's supposed to be an 8-bit style game.

I compose music as a hobby and I study math and science. My aspiration musically is to make an orchestral score for a video game, my scholarly aspirations are to develop effective models/algorithms. I am also fond of the wristwatch. Feel free to PM.
